Bank of England meets Cambridge tech businesses

by Insignis in News

A group of local Cambridge Business owners and CEOs met on 28th September for a round table discussion lead by a senior representative of the Bank of England. The event was hosted by online currency exchange provider Money Mover at Milton Hall in Cambridgeshire. Insignis CEO, Giles Hutson, attended the event which ranged across topics from business financing, Brexit, the pros and cons of starting a business in the current economic climate and the rise of technology firms in the UK. Giles felt that “It was a constructive and positive meeting and very encouraging to see the Bank of England’s depth of understanding in the region and in technology companies specifically. We all felt energised by the banks approach to small business and by the visit in general.” Senior representatives and CEOs attended from Cambridge startups Money Mover, Syndicate Room, Undo Software, Cambridge Network, Sentinel Oncology, Fluidic Analytics, Geospatial Insight and Insignis. Our thanks go to Susan Curtis and Hamish Anderson from Money Mover who invited Insignis to this prestigious event. Insignis was represented by Giles Hutson and Deborah Meller.
